No tasting notes here on Vincellar - checked Cellartracker - 3 notes all consistent with a good wine characteristic of Chambolle Musigny, but either this is a bad bottle or just doesn't work for me. Opened with aromas of alcohol and some fruit and grape juice. Flat on the tongue but not corked tasting more uninspired than anything. Evolved slightly for the better in the glass, but not much. Unfortunately, I find much of the mid-range Burgundy wines to be very mediocre, especially when considering what is being produced on the West coast of the US.
