Every once in a while you meet a strange wine that is hard to describe. This is one. It strikingly resembles a left bank Bordeaux and certainly is not a typical Barolo. Blueberries and coffee on the nose. Not plush like a Barolo, but firm, full bodied and a long, long finish.

Multiple dark aromas on the nose. Coffee, chocolate, licorice. I would consider it medium bodied. Has soft, round tannins with a smooth finish. Drinks very nicely at this point, but fruit was not overpowering on the nose so I would not age much longer.
