  • Burghound | Rating: 89

A bright, clean and very floral nose combines with sweet, rich and reasonably full flavors that possess very solid underlying material and fine finishing complexity. This is a really lovely effort with plenty of freshness and a racy, mineral-infused finish.

  • Vergisson is a small, typical Macon village, but the wines from the Domaine Roger Lassarat are anything but. The advantages of this property are many: up to 90-year-old vines, sustainable farming methods, hillside vineyards, and meticulously managed yields. Throw in the finely tuned craftsmanship of Monsieur Lassarat and the result is the ultimate in Pouilly-Fuisse. His wines express a liquid purity and minerality that is perfectly aligned with the bright, vivacious acidity and the intense, multi-dimensional citrus, white truffle, and spicy apple notes.
