Rich and intense, but also quite dry and leathery, with dried currant, herb, sage and dusty berry flavors that take on a pencil lead and graphite edge.Author: James LaubeRating: 17
Wild mountain blackberry, herbs, menthol, forest floor and cocoa notes add up to wonderful Bordeaux-like complexity. Moderately ripe and juicy, with chewy tannins that call for cellaring. (LM)$75Author: Linda Murphy

Translucent medium black cherry red. Crisp apply blackberry and cherry aromas with a good dose of smooth buttery oak. Smooth but quite significant tannin and low but already integrating acidity. Very much ready to go right now but it just doesn't have enough stuffing to be considered great. 100% Cabernet (Clone 7).Author: Daniel B
Tom and Laurie Clark staked their dream to a small parcel on the east side of Howell Mountain and produced their first vintage in 1993. The winemaking style is elegant in its subtlety, and reflects the parcel's unique microclimate. Douglas Danielak is winemaker.
