The estate's 2003 Barolo is a pretty, soft effort with perfumed dark cherries, herbs and spices flavors. It offers good length even if the hard, green tannins finish somewhat coarse and tend to dominate the wine's balance.

Very pretty aromas of ripe plum, fresh flowers and sandalwood lead to a full-bodied palate, with velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Has lots of potential. Very well done for the vintage.
