($80) Pineapple syrup, mango and wet stone on the atypically ripe nose. Supple, fat and highly concentrated, with unusually soft, exotic flavors of pineapple and mango, along with a hint of stoniness. Quite persistent but a tad warm on the finish.

This was just bottled before my visit. The nose is dominated by generous amounts of vanilla and wood spice, combining big, rich, buttery and exceptionally ripe flavors and an opulent, mouth coating and palate staining finish. This is an exotic wine with much to like but there is more wood than I prefer.
