($70) Deep ruby. Ripe, fresh aromas of sweet cherry, blackcurrant and chocolate, accented by gentle, sexy (French) oak spice. Remarkably supple and elegant on the palate, with juicy, vibrant redcurrant and raspberry flavors, supported and enhanced by cinnamon, mace and candied violet. This has weight, structure and depth but it's also balanced, precise and suave, finishing on a bright, silky note, with polished, ripe tannins.

Deep garnet colored, the 2002 RWT Shiraz presents a lovely aromatic core of fragrant berry preserves, plums and kirsch, anise and a touch of incense. Full-bodied, concentrated and taut, this is still very youthful with lively acid and a firm, fine tannic backbone to support the very long finish.

Muted aromas, but it's generous and jazzy in the mouth. Lively, with blackberry, cherry and white pepper flavors remaining zingy through the long, harmonious finish. Hints at white chocolate as the flavors linger. Tannins are firm, but fine.

Inky Purple color. Blackberry, black cherry, pencil shavings on the nose. Black peper and ginger on the palate. Moderately soft tannins. Nice finish and excellent balance...this doesn't come across hot at all considering the alcohol content.

Rich garnet with a dark, inky black core. Great nose; aromatic spicy black fruit, plum, mulberry and sweet blackcurrant. Classic Shiraz. Full bodied with ripe tannins. Rich concentrated black fruits, mulberry, black pepper and maybe a hint of violets. This has the structure and fruit to age for a long time. Excellent.
