Meaty, sweet, acidity sticks out to make this a slightly jagged whole. Very bright fruit with real density. Acid and tannin better integrated than in the Savitar 2001 which was itself pretty jazzy

The saturated blue/purple-colored 2002 Shiraz Savitar offers gorgeous aromas of white flowers, liquid minerals, blackberries, blueberries, earth, and tree bark. Ripe and full-bodied, with great intensity, this prodigious effort will require 2-3 years of cellaring.
