2002 Domaine Marius Delarche Corton-Renardes Vieilles Vignes Reserve Grand Cru

A moderately ripe, earth and slightly animale nose leads to focused and intense medium-bodied flavors that offer good if nto exceptional power with that intense gamey, indeed even sauvage quality that Renardes so often displays. The now softening tannins are quite fine and the fine balance suggests that this should age well over the medium term and while this is still on its way up, the flavors are sufficiently accessible that this could be enjoyed now.
