The dense ruby/purple-colored 2002 Pinot Noir Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard exhibits a big, spicy nose of cloves, allspice, and black cherries that brings to mind a Christmas pudding. Medium to full-bodied, with soft tannin, an attractive texture, medium to full body, and a long finish, it is immanently drinkable, but should age nicely for 3-4 years.
