    Saturated red-ruby. Pure, blacker aromas of cassis, licorice and violet; lively and perfumed. Very suave on entry, then juicy, precise and tightly wound, with highly aromatic dark berry and violet flavors. Finishes with strong tannins and great lift and persistence. Less exotic and less robust than the Brulees, but more sharply delineated and even longer.

    The profound, medium ruby-colored 2002 Vosne-Romanee Les Beaux Monts has an intensely spicy, waxy black fruit-dominated nose. On the palate, this wine expands magnificently, unleashing soft, velvety waves of fresh pulp-laden red fruits. Concentrated, powerful, graceful, and well-structured, it is a superb example of its vineyard's potential.

    Very deep ruby. Picture perfect Vosne spice of impeccable elegance and purity merges seamlessly with stunningly beautiful, chiseled and equally muscular flavors but with even more size and weight yet for all the volume, the balance is perfect. The concentration and intensity of the finish is almost painful and the finish just doesn't stop as it literally lasts for minutes. A great effort and a more complete one than the Brul‚es.
