2002 La Chablisienne Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru
FRANCE / BURGUNDY /
Wine Spectator | Rating: 93
Compact, yet dense and powerful, exhibiting honey, mineral and lemon aromas and flavors, all balanced with a vibrant structure and supple texture. Fine length, but needs time.Author: Bruce SandersonRating: 90
This is aromatically ripe but much more discreet and understated compared to the Mont‚e de Tonnerre and while there is a touch of wood, it is already a background element. The medium weight flavors display notes of peach and pear with impressive elegance, purity and delineation. There is a subtle finishing minerality that is really quite beguiling. Classically styled and proportioned with a cool finish.Issue: 4th Quarter, 2004
