2002 Babcock Pinot Noir Grand Cuvée

($35) Saturated dark red. Liqueur-like raspberry, chocolate, mocha, roasted oak and exotic baking spices on the nose. Fat, thick and concentrated, with flavors of roasted raspberry, clove and cinnamon. In a very ripe style for this producer. Finishes with light tannins and an edge of acidity.
