Has been a great wine from the start. Just beginning to develop secondary charecteristics. One of the best New Zealand Pinots I've tasted. Can be drunk now but a few more years is warranted.

Quite dark purple color. Big and forward but the wine remains very lush and smooth from beginning to end. Candied plum with some oak - complexity is not yet there but it?s a good bet it will emerge with a bit of time. Tannin is in check while the acids are a bit on the low side.
