Aromas of blackberry, plum and currant unfold gracefully, accompanied by herb, cedar and roasted coffee scents. This well-structured wine is firmly tannic, giving it a solid backbone that turns chewy.

The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits aromas of sassafras, charcoal, black currants, and weedy tobacco in a medium to full-bodied, rich, fleshy style. It possesses loads of fruit, good body, and nicely integrated wood as well as tannin in the long finish. This excellent Cabernet may merit an outstanding score in a year or two.
