    ($70) Deep red. Wonderfully pure aromas of red cherry and raspberry jam, with subtle cinnamon and nutmeg spiciness. Very concentrated but elegant, with a long finish featuring substantial but noble tannins and a whiff of old leather. A cult wine in Italy and usually one of the top three dozen reds of any vintage.
