($68) Medium red with a palish rim. Highly aromatic nose combines cherry, tobacco, leather, cola, spices and smoked meat. Juicy and suave, with red fruit and floral flavors framed and extended by harmonious acidity. Silky, enjoyable wine with enticing spice and sweetness on the back. Very 2000, in a positive way.

Bright, extremely elegant and beautifully expressive mix of red and black fruit combines seamlessly with supple, relatively fine, rich flavors culminating is a long and slightly warm finish. There is a touch of torrefaction and the tannins are soft and round. Good persistence here. Consistent notes.
