Wine Spectator | Rating: 92A smooth-textured, graceful style, with complex earthy currant, sage, tobacco and pencil lead flavors that are focused, and gain intensity on the finish. Firmly tannic. 3,893 cases made.Author: James Laube
Self | Rating: 91The Fay vineyard is always the most forward of the high end SLWC Cabernets. The '99 is no exception however as with many '99 Napa Cabernets this wine needs a little more time in the bottle to really shine. Taut yet strong nose of red fruits and spice. Slightly elevated acidity but otherwise the wine finishes with all the tell tale signs of classic California Cabernet.Drink Dates: 2006-2011Author: Daniel B
