Quite impressive, mainly because it's so dense. Delivers lime, mineral, wet earth and matchstick notes. Has great length, but the finish is slightly coarse.

The 1999 Corton-Charlemagne offers mineral and stone aromas. Medium-bodied, fat, and wide, yet elegant, it is a well-balanced, austere wine. Minerals, white fruits, and toasty oak can be discerned in this wine's character as well as throughout its impressively long finish.

Great example of CC. Rich, with minerality and acidity for the long haul, yet very approachable

Medium-full bodied but very smooth on the palate with a pleasant, nutty finish. Drinking very well now, should be good for at least another 2-3 years.
