Red-ruby color. Cool aromas of redcurrant, plum and mint. Bright, restrained red berry flavors complicated by a suggestion of tobacco leaf. Offers good clarity and cut. Should make a flexible dinner-table wine.

The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Knight's Valley is a soft, fleshy offering with aromas and flavors of red and black currants, smoke, earth, and subtle wood. This tasty, straightforward, moderately weighty Cabernet will drink well for 5-6 years. Beringer was the first to exploit the potential of the Knight's Valley for Cabernet Sauvignon, which has now become one of California's most fashionable winemaking regions.

This one was a good bottle (last one was off). Drink it now and have a steak.
