Wine Advocate | Rating: 94Author: Robert Parker
Wine Spectator | Rating: 89A big, potent, high-extract wine that takes time to open up. Once it does, it's packed with chewy, earthy black cherry, mineral, sage and spice, finishing with a strong cedary oak flavor. High in alcohol, it has a hot aftertaste.Author: James Laube
International Wine Cellar | Rating: 95Very dark red, with ruby highlights. Sappy aroma of red berries, pomegranate and marijuana, plus hints of stewed fruit and burger. Superripe, deep and dry, with the resiny pungency carrying through in the mouth. Seems a bit topheavy with alcohol. Finishes with tongue-dusting tannins. Impresses with its sheer size, but I much prefer the balance of the following wine.Author: Stephen Tanzer
