1995 Royal Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos Szt Tamas Single Vineyard

Around two-thirds of this is furmint. Smells of red plum, toasted hazelnut and woodsmoke. Exceedingly sleek and bright in the mouth, introducing luscious fresh pineapple and lime components. Very honeyed, with a continued aura of red fruits. Fine, long honey and citrus finish that contrasts strikingly in its bright citricity, oily gloss and dynamic flavor interplay with the low-toned, more coarsely textured finishing character of the corresponding Nyulaszo bottling. Potential 2 stars.
