Bright, saturated ruby-purple color. Brooding aromas of cassis, cherry pit, baking spices, smoked duck, soy sauce, minerals and eucalyptus. Great freshness and snap in the mouth; dense, concentrated, superripe cassis and black raspberry flavors are complicated by mineral and minty components. Powerful and primary, but already displays compelling inner-mouth perfume. Very long, slow-building finish features substantial tannins.

Rich in flavor and remarkably focused, this Australian red pinpoints its blackberry, plum, mint and anise flavors as it expands across the palate. Nicely styled to show off the pretty flavors which echo on the firm finish.
