1995 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon
UNITED STATES / CALIFORNIA / NAPA
Wine Spectator | Rating: 90
An elegant, complex style that serves up a pretty array of cherry, plum, currant and sage flavors built around ripe, firm tannins. Can stand short-term cellaring. 12,600 cases made.Author: James LaubeWine Advocate | Rating: 86
The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon is a straightforward, gutsy Cabernet with plenty of black currant fruit, subtle oak, nice spice, a one-dimensional personality, but good depth and texture. It should drink well for 7-10 years.Author: Robert Parker

Amazing how well this is still tasting! Barely any sign of aging and the tannins have not calmed down yet. Dark ruby color, plenty of dark berries.Drink Dates: 2005-2021Author: Alexander C229Self | Rating: 91
Ruby red with a light garnet rim. Nose and flavors consist primarily of ripe cherries, blackberry and strawberry and without any vegetal aromas. Nose is a little hot, but acids are well balanced and the tannins feel refined. Perhaps a little more time in the glass would eliminate the hot character. All in all a nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa.Author: Oenosopher
