  • Wine Advocate | Rating: 90

The 1990 Beaune-Couchereux reveals an intense and dramatic nose of red and black fruits, oak, and flowers. Long, rich, and succulent, it exhibits gobs of fruit, glycerin, and alcohol in the finish. It should drink well for the next 7-10 years.
    Author: Robert Parker
  • Rating: 87

Ever so slightly more advanced than the Boucherottes with some secondary notes on the nose yet the rich flavors remain quite primary in character with nice length and good buffering fruit for the noticeable tannins.
    Issue: 4th Quarter, 2001

  • Maison Louis Jadot has been in the town of Beaune since 1859, and has a stellar reputation for producing wines of excellent value. Jadot's principles of vinification balance tradition and technology and focus on the purest expression of the terroir. Jadot aims to cultivate its vines with consideration for the environment and the microbial life of the soils.
