Dark garnet. No hint of lightening at the rim. Wow is this still young. 3 hours of slo o and then 4 of decanting bring out a gorgeous nose of dark fruits, tar, and menthol. Powerful and dense in the mouth, with a voluptuous mouthfeel and mouthcoating tannins. It is very tannic still, but theres more than enough stuffing to hold up to it. My oh my. This could last another 20-30 years. easy.
