Wine Advocate | Rating: 87Author: Robert Parker
Rating: 92Harmonious, balanced and delicious in a supple and attractive style.
Anonymous | Rating:The 1981 Alexander Valley has a light ruby color with red pepper and spice in the nose. It is light bodied with some fruit on the palate. This wine is starting to peak and would be best enjoyed now. Due to limited supply in our library this wine was last tasted June 2004. May need decanting due to light sediment and some bottle to bottle variation is apparent in this vintage.Author: RR
