Tomorrow's Washington Post includes a story on wine investing called Buyers and Cellars (including a few quotes from me). There's no question that investing in wine is a topic of growing interest. The story mentions this blog and some wine investing tips which are part of a prior post (click here to read all of the tips). The story also references wine's investment performance relative to other categories, the details of which may be found in this post from last week.

Great article! Was a nice surprise to see your company in my local paper (front page of the business section). I seem to fit into the profile that was described - a novice wine collector that suddenly has bottles that are too expensive to drink. Your company has helped me "swap" these for less expensive bottles.

One important thing to remember when investing in wine is that it is an agriculture product. Things beyond our control (Mother Nature & critics) can greatly iompact things! I've invested in public wineries and even during a great year, a poorly timed rain storm can affect the stock.
