Again, there is a background note of reduction that plays on the edge of perception - decant. Otherwise, the citrus blossom aromas dominate the nose along with hints of wet stone that are also picked up by the intense and soil-driven flavors that possess exceptionally good precision and a mouth watering and palate staining finish that, like the Champlots, is focused, linear and serious.

($42-$50) Bright yellow. Rather exotic aromas of apricot, orange blossom and honey. Full and sexy, with impressive volume to the ripe yellow fruit flavors. The back end shows very good stony cut, which currently shortens the fruit a bit. This was 11.8% potential alcohol chaptalized to 12.4%, according to Colin.

Nervy and transparent - much livelier than this producer's other St-Aubins. Real class and enough ripe fruit to counterbalance the very high acidity. Some real delicacy. Quite long.
