A blend of 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Auxerois from the Herrenberg vineyard, this wine is actually aged in barrels made from the estate's own forest. There are beautiful aromas of white peach, blossoms, and just a hint of creaminess. This cuvee is very elegant albeit a bit restrained. Great fruit / acid balance. A very pretty wine that is a great match for oysters, smoked trout, sole, or even abalone.
