Transportation services & fees

Pick-up and delivery services

• We use refrigerated, insulated commercial cargo vans kept at 55 degrees.
• Our service area is San Francisco Bay Area and Napa/Sonoma counties.
• Packing services on pick-ups are available if scheduled in advance.
• Pick-ups and deliveries must be scheduled in advance.
• Individuals can notify us if they would like to pick-up and drop-off wine at the facility.

Fees for pick-ups and deliveries

• Delivery fees are $10 per carton (or partial carton) with a two carton minimum. See Delivery fees on the Shipping and delivery page for free options.
• Pick-up fees are $10 per carton from all locations within our Service Area, including from Napa/Sonoma wineries(where permitted). Note: Winery pick-ups for Vinfolio priority customers are free.
• Pick-up is free for over 25 cartons.
• Packing services on pick-ups are $5.00 per carton (any size) plus the cost of any cardboard storage boxes.

Shipping services & fees

• Outbound
  We ship FedEx to those states where shipping is legal. For bulk shipments, freight forwarders with temperature-controlled trucks may be arranged.
• Inbound
  There is no charge for receiving inbound shipments. Advance notification is required for deliveries by freight forwarders.
• International
  Most countries (e.g. Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong) are supported using DHL or specialized shipping companies. Contact us for a quote. In addition to shipping charges, duties are often required based on your destination country.
• Transportation insurance
  Wine in transit (via our vans, FedEx, DHL or others) is fully insured for up to $1,000,000 when arranged by us. (Additional coverage is available.)
