Richard Juhlin uses the 100 point scale to rate champagne, but a few factors must be considered to fully appreciate his reviews:

  • The scale starts at 0.
  • 50 points is an average mark for Non-Vintage (NV) champagne.
  • NV wines rated below 80—especially those from the fringes of the region—should not be avoided.
  • The final score is based on an overall impression of the wine and not a summation of points for different qualities or characteristics.

To integrate paid subscriptions with your Vinfolio account, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your Vinfolio account.
  • Click on "My Account" at the top of the page.
