VinCellar's easy-to-use interface makes it simple to enter, update and view:
Wine and vintage

Tasting notes
VinCellar supports barcoding to help you accurately maintain your inventory.
Upon request, Vinfolio will
provide barcode
labels for each bottle in your
collection. And all new purchases from Vinfolio will automatically be barcoded.
With a simple scan of the barcode label, you can maintain accurate inventory
counts when you remove bottles from your cellar or quickly retrieve accurate
information on any bottle in your collection.
The characters we encode on the barcode labels uniquely identify each bottle of wine in your collection,
including associated details (if entered) on cellar location, purchase source and cost.
Vinfolio barcode labels are small, discrete and can be removed easily. They are also printed with
the wine name and bottle size so you can apply them yourself or use them on neck tags.
VinCellar gives you instant access to over 130,000 scores and drink dates from Stephen Tanzer's International
Wine Cellar (IWC), Allen Meadows's Burghound, Roy Hersh's For The Love of Port and Richard Juhlin's Champagne Club. Subscribers to these
publications can also view their subscription's review content (including full text reviews) by linking
their subscription(s) to their Vinfolio account for no additional charge. Click here to read more about our content partners.
VinCellar provides current market values for all wine in your account. Estimated values are based on
our proprietary algorithm that uses both auction results (as compiled in the Wine Price File) and retail
pricing (derived from data supplied by Wine-Searcher.com). Plus, if you have cost data entered for your wine,
we provide a gain/loss statement for each wine by comparing your cost to the estimated value. You can also
click on a wine name within VinCellar to access auction price averages by time period and price details
by individual lot and source.
VinCellar includes charts and graphs to graphically display your entire collection by:
Varietal
Readiness to drink
Cost data
Gain/loss
Professional score
Prearrival source
This is an excellent way to analyze the balance and health of your collection. The charts and graphs
are also interactive - you can click any section to generate a list of the wines that comprise the
section.
Because VinCellar is online software, your entire collection is accessible anywhere, anytime. It also means you can
avoid time-consuming software installations and ensures that your wine data is always backed up and secure.
Free software demo: Upon request, by phone we will walk you through a VinCellar demo to introduce
you to key features of the software.
Free initial data import to get you started. Vinfolio will transfer the data from a spreadsheet or from
other cellar management software (such as Cellartracker, Cellar! or Robert Parker's Wine Advisor and Cellar
Manager) to create a new VinCellar account at no charge. Learn how.
Data entry and scanning of non-Vinfolio wine invoices. Wine purchased from Vinfolio is automatically
entered at no charge into VinCellar with an invoice image. For other wine purchases, you can email
or fax a copy of the invoice to Customer Service at 415-946-1359 and the wine, cost
details, and an invoice image will be imported into your account. The fee is $1.00 per unique wine and
invoice scanning is included at no charge.
Barcode/Case Labels - Vinfolio purchases are automatically barcoded to facilitate the management
of your inventory in VinCellar. For other purchases, bottle barcode labels are $0.35 per label and case
labels are $1.00 per label. Labels are mailed every Friday for orders received during the prior 7 days.
