• Register on Vinfolio's site if you don't already have a Vinfolio account.
• Email marketing@vinfolio.com with the URL(s) of the site(s) you intend to use to promote Vinfolio and your choice of whether you wish to earn store credits or cash. Upon approval, you will qualify for the affiliate benefits above.
• Tell our marketing department the size of the target ad space on your site and we'll provide a Vinfolio ad which displays your Personal Referral Code and embeds the code into your site visitor's cookie to prepopulate the promotion code field in our checkout process.

Personal Reference Code

All approved Vinfolio affiliates are assigned a Personal Referral Code. This code will never expire. It is embedded in the ad you place on your site and ensures that all new customers, who use it or click through to make a purchase at Vinfolio, receive 10% off their initial purchase.

When we identify that your Personal Referral Code has been used by a new customer on an order of $100 or more, we will give you a store credit for $10 - $100 depending on the order value. Cash payments are also dependent on total order value (see chart below). There is no limit to how much store credit you can accumulate—or cash payments you can receive—nor are there restrictions on which Vinfolio items you can purchase with the credit.

What is a Personal Reference Code?

The Personal Referral Code is a unique code that can be utilized by the recipient for 10% off their first purchase. The Personal Referral Code identifies you as the originator of the code. When the code is applied for an initial order from a new customer of $100 or more, you will receive a store credit or cash payment according to the request you made during the affiliate sign-up process.

Where Will I Find My Personal Reference Code?

All registered affiliates may find their Personal Referral Code on their My Account page after signing in to their Vinfolio account.

Your Personal Referral Code will also be referenced in all email notifications whenever your Personal Referral Code has been successfully applied to an order.

How Do I Display and Leverage My Personal Reference Code?

The preferred and most effective way to distribute your Personal Referral Code is to display a Vinfolio advertisement on your website. Just email marketing@vinfolio.com and let us know the size of the ad you wish to display. We will create an ad image for you with your own Personal Referral Code. We will also provide you with a link that automatically fills your Personal Referral Code whenever a user clicks on it.

There are several ways for you to utilize your Personal Referance Code, aside from posting an ad on your blog or website:

• You can email, instant message or fax your code to anyone.
  
• You can refer to the code if you are writing about a wine on your blog (or featuring it on your website) and Vinfolio happens to have this wine. By linking to Vinfolio with the embedded code, you make it easy for your readers to get 10% off their first purchase, and ensure you receive credit for the referral.
  

When creating hyperlinks to any page on the Vinfolio site, you need to include the following information at the end of the link to enusre that the discount code field is autofilled with your Personal Referral Code and credit you for any first time customer orders over $100.

How Do I Know When My Personal Referral Code Has Been Successfully Applied?

Vinfolio will email you every time your Personal Referral Code has been successfully applied on an initial purchase and inform you how much credit you earned based on the order value. Your account will be updated with all earned credits by 5pm PST Monday for the prior Monday through Sunday period. Accounts choosing the cash payment option will be issued check payments at the end of every month.

Where Can I Check My Credit Balance?

When you sign in to your account, your total credit balance is displayed in the top right hand corner of My Account page.

Personal Referral Code Restrictions

• Your Personal Referral Code may only be used for first time purchase (one use per household). Existing Vinfolio customers who have made one or more purchases do not qualify for Personal Referral Code discounts.
• Your Personal Referral Code cannot be combined with other promotional discount codes.
• Cancelled orders that used your Personal Referral Code will result in an appropriate debit to your account.
• Vinfolio reserves the right to discontinue any Personal Referral Codes for any reason and to reverse the benefits of Personal Referral Codes that have been used improperly.
