Aalto - PS (Pagos Seleccionados)
No decant. Dark ruby. Gorgeous aromatics. Mouthful of dark fruit, some earth, and oak. All well integrated but with a backbone to suggest many years of aging ahead. Finishes with distinct tannins but everything is in balance. Didn't improve over time in glass and perhaps even faded a little after 3 hours. Very alluring wine and am glad to have tried it. Will purchase more of this or perhaps the 2005 and cellar. 50+8+10+18+8=94+

Dominus
Still painfully young but structured to age into a fine Dominus. Dark, deep ruby. Fragrant nose of red fruit, truffle, olives, earth. Medium/full bodied. Nice mouthfil of red fruit, a slight herbaceous note and truffle. The alcohol is quite dominant at this stage with nice backbone and smooth tannins. Should age very nicely. Irrelevant to score this wine so young but lovers of Dominus should be happy to cellar this.

Montrose
Consistent notes.
This is a stunning wine. Nose full of fruit mixed with leather, truffles. Very typical bottle. Tremendous mouthfill and solid grip. This is a Bordeaux powerhouse showing no signs of letting up anytime soon. 50+10+10+19+9=98
