2007
Fleury - F in Red
Very big for a merlot based wine. Lots of sweet tannins and lots of black fruit and chocolate. A big, biut well balanced wine. Very nice bottle. Purchased during a wonderful visit to the winery.
2007
Keplinger - Grenache Red Slope
A great southern rhone blend of 90% Grenache and 10% syrah. Red fruit is well balanced with ripe tannins and nice acidity.
2000
Vincent Girardin - Corton Perrieres
a beautiful mix of red and black fruit without being too fruit forward. Has evolved well in the bottle and is showing some earthiness. Perfect time to drink now but should evolve even more over the next several years.
2008
Fleury - Sauvignon Blanc
A very nice Napa Sauvignon blanc. In between a New Zealand and a Sancerre with well balanced acidity and fruit.
2006
Paul Hobbs - Cabernet Sauvignon CrossBarn
A good moderately priced Hobbs cab. Dark fruit, cedar, some spice. Well balanced, ripe tannins so it's ready to drink now or could age well for a few more years. A nice easy drinking wine but not near the level of his higher priced offerings.
