RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. 2005 Williams Selyem - Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard
Super concentrated Chardonnay, more in a Burgundian style (i.e. no oak). Meyers lemon, citrus and pineapple with a slight candied note. Beam of acidity keeps it balanced and refreshing. Great weight to the mouthfeel with a long, mouth coating finish.

2002 Taz - Syrah Santa Barbara County
Good blackberry fruit and kirsch upfront. Not much of a mid-palate and the finish fades quickly. A pleasing wine but not much complexity. Leaves you short changed on the palate.

1986 Beychevelle
Wonderful year for Bordeaux. Delicious core of ripe dark berry and plum. Framed by notes of chalk, leather and bacon fat. Medium bodied but great depth and complexity. Fully integrated tannins provide a smooth, lengthy finish. Great elegance to this Bordeaux. Sadly, my last bottle of '86 Bordeaux!

2000 Zuccardi - Malbec Q
Core of ripe, dark berry fruit. Well integrated, polished tannins. Not overly complex but very palate-pleasing wine. Decent finish. Very nice drinking now.

1998 Fernandez, Alejandro - Tinto Pesquera (Crianza)
This is peaking. Wonderful, ripe blueberry and dark berry fruit. Nicely integrated tannins with still noticeable grip. Retains great structure which adds to its complexity. Fruit is complemented by notes of cigar and bramble. Everything mingles together on the palate during the lengthy finish. Delicious!
