RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

1994 Behrens & Hitchcock - Cabernet Sauvignon Staglin Vineyard
Nicely concentrated, more fruit forward style. Tannins are soft and rounded. Ripe dark berry and black currant furit. Slight spiciness, earthiness add subtle complexity. Long, supple, delicious finish.

1989 Palmer
Classic Bordeaux. More restrained yet ripe blackberry, blueberry and dark pit fruit. Framed by classic Bordeaux chalkiness and wet hay. Tannins are fully integrated with a pleasant, supple, rounded, lengthy finish. Wonderful.

2006 Couhins - Blanc
Good, clean white Bordeaux. Decent concentration. Nice everyday white, surprising for a white Bordeaux.

2004 Alto Moncayo - Campo de Borja
Super concentrated and delicious. Ripe, sweet blackberry and dark berry fruit, blackberry pie and blackberry liqueur. Tannins are almost completely integrated and provide the needed structure to keep this from being cloying. Mouth-staining, palate-ooating finish that lasts 50+ seconds.

1996 Clarendon Hills - Grenache Kangarilla Vineyard Old Vines
This is much better this time. Candied cherry, kirsch and ripe black cherry flavors. Concentrated and medium-bodied. Tannins almost fully integrated, more polished now. Good length to the finish.
