Isole e Olena - Cepparello
What a surprise!! Had heard from several people that this was on the decline....no way. Still lots of velvety tannin wrapped around silky fruit. Nose is quite reserved which is typical of the region. Long finish. Great acids.

Kistler - Chardonnay Cuvee Cathleen
Not as great as one expects from all the hype. Very good bottle but not worth the money. Fully mature so drink up.

Raveneau - Chablis Montee de Tonnerre 1er Cru
Nowhere near ready yet. Still tightly wound even with prolonged aeration. Another few years perhaps? The structure is there however.

Ridge - Zinfandel Pagani Ranch
This was a baby if you can believe it. Dark color and VERY true to that unique Ridge style. Great acidity to balance out all that fruit. Could see another 5 to 8 years easily. What a surprise!!

Moulin Touchais - Coteaux du Layon
These wines are bulletproof. Still lots of time left. Went perfectly with the cheese course.
