2008 Tablas Creek - Grenache Blanc
VINsider tasting notes (03/10) say: "It had a very long fermentation (in a mix of stainless steel and foudre) that didn't finish until nearly a year after harvest. It was bottled in September 2009. Tasting notes: A clean nose of mineral, green apple, grapefruit and pear, with flavors that begin bright with lemon and lime, then broaden in the mid-palate before re-tightening on the finish with a lingering character of green apple skin and wet rocks. Drink in the next two to three years. Press: Tanzer's I.W.C. 89 points (11/09)

2005 Witch Creek - Petit Verdot Reserve
Dark, clear purple in color with a nose of dusty black fruit and anise, this full-bodied Petite Verdot tasted of dusky plum, and dry cocoa. Dry tannins, however, mask its luscious fruit; this should be kept down for a year or two more. It is quite tart on the finish, so too much more time in bottle could work off too much fruit and leave just mouth-puckering acidity.

2007 Witch Creek - Zinzilla
Deep purple in color and with aromas of dark fruit and cedar, this blend of equal parts Zinfadel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah was full bodied with mouth filling fruit, but needs more time in bottle to work off the oak, which is too prominent at this stage.

2008 Perraud - Macon-Villages Vieilles Vignes
Very austere white Burgundy with little fruit, but crisp acidity should help this wine pair well with light dinner fare.

2006 Claiborne & Churchill - Riesling
Light gold in color, with aromas of pear, light apricot, and honey, this Riesling from California's central coast had flavors of ripe pear, gooseberry, some tropical fruit, and light vanilla. A lively acidity and full mouth feel help make this wine a good choice to accompany a meal - perhaps lemon chicken or a full flavored whitefish.
