RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

1995 Ducru-Beaucaillou
Very dark and deep, with a huge nose of violets and earth. Rich black and red berries, crème de casis, floral and spice too, with tannins still present. Seemed to have it all, wrapped in velvet with a long, elegant finish.

2006 Razor's Edge - Shiraz/Grenache
Notes on distant memory, but recall really enjoying this, pretty black and blue fruits with hints of something else going on I can't recall. I'd buy more, this blend worked.

2000 Biondi-Santi - Sassoalloro
Last had this 6 years ago. Held up well. A nice medium bodied, berry filled Tuscan. Complemented by subtle spice and wood notes. Clean finish.

2002 Verget - Meursault Tete de Cuvee
Not sure how, but this wine blew me away. Perfectly aged, perfect condition. Seemed to have it all. Richness, elegance, fruit, honey, nuts, everything in balance and kept begging for another sip.

1996 Moccagatta - Barbera d'Alba Basarin
Really enjoyed this. Pretty morello cherry fruit on the palate, hint of cranberry too. Good amount of acid, still racy, balanced by some earth and a bit dusty.
