1997 Manzone, Giovanni - Barolo Riserva Le Gramolere
Fantastic wine - made in the modern style so a little less muscular than the "big dogs". Lots of finesse and a loooonnngggg finish.

1997 Corino - Barolo Arborina
A muscular barolo which will warm the hearts and palates of those who love nebbiolo in the traditional style. Needs time in the decanter.

1997 Caparzo - Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Did a tasting with 1995 Altesino and 1990 Argiano and this one stood out. A powerhouse. Needs more time in the bottle.
