2006 Saxum - Broken Stones
black fruit and minerality on the nose. Broad entry on the palate, with fine semi-integrated tannins, full bodied with layers of black fruit, cassis and spice on the palate, very long finish. This is a yound beauty.

2004 Marcassin - Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge Vineyard
Decanted 90 minutes in advance. On the nose smoke, bramble, sweet licorice. On the palate very rich flavors of grill meat, tar and smoke with fully integrated tannins, rich velvety mouth feel and a nice 30sec finish. Great if you like bold Pinot Noir.
