Morin, Gerard - Sancerre Clos du Chene Marchand
Lovely lush nose of flowers and citrus; similar flavors are lush yet crisp, and extremely elegant; complex; long lingering finish; none of the typical grassiness seen in many new world Sauvignon Blancs. The best Sauvignon Blanc I have had in a long time.

Consistent notes. Med dark ruby/mahogany red; profound nose of primarily black fruit, tobacco & leather; similar & very complex flavors, well integrated mature soft tannins; good grip; very complex and long; beautifully balanced; extremely long finish; still vigorous and drinking well now with plenty of life ahead; a great Bordeaux.

Bottle variability. This is a lovely example; golden yellow; full, rich, fruity nose - clean without oxidation or sulfur; full yet elegant rich Meursault flavors; long, elegant finish; aged quickly in the glass. Fully mature - drink up!

Chante-Cigale - Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes
Delicious. Big fragrant nose; spicy, peppery, with plum & black cherry full-bodied; earthy, concentrated; moderate soft tannins. Ready but will hold.
