Located in Oregon's Dundee Hills, Winter's Hill Vineyard prides itself on growing the finest grapes, harvesting them at optimum ripeness, and crafting the best wines possible. The warm red slopes of their vineyard nourish deep-rooted vines, planted in 1990 and managed for low, intensely flavored yields.
Winter's Hill Vineyard has been in the family since 1961, when Emily Gladhart's parents, John and Lena Winter, purchased a fruit and grain farm on a corner of Oregon's Dundee Hills. The Winters resettled from Illinois bringing the wrought iron hinges that now grace their cellar door. In 1990 Peter & Emily and their son Russell planted the first 19 acres of grapes, 12 acres of Pinot Noir and 7 acres of Pinot Gris. The vineyard's elevation of 525 to 730 feet on south facing slopes provides optimum warmth during summer days while exposing it to cool ocean breezes every afternoon that drop evening temperatures into the 50s. These conditions bring the slow, gentle ripening so essential to the delicate character of fine Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Back to All Washington / Oregon Producers > |

Any location refers to wine stored in a seller's private site as well as wine in Vinfolio storage. Wines sourced from Any location will be fulfilled to a buyer within four weeks. Wine sourced from Vinfolio storage will be fulfilled in one week.
Fill to max quantity allows you to fulfill your bid quantity through multiple purchases. All sellers with wine in the requested location are eligible to accept. Otherwise, you can choose to fulfill your entire bid quantity from one seller.
