Raptor Ridge

Raptor Ridge
The winery's 27-acre Raptor Ridge estate, on the northeast side of the Chehalem Mountains, is named for the birds of prey that share their territory with the Pinot Noir vines. Winemaker Scott Schull strives to capture the unique flavor profile of this property with a hands-off winemaking style, resulting in characteristic deep fruit flavors. Contract fruit from some of Oregon's most respected growers supplements the Raptor Ridge portfolio of 4,000 cases per vintage. Vineyard designate Pinot Noirs include bottlings of Shea, Harbinger, and Meredith Mitchell. A Reserve and Willamette Valley are also produced. In addition to Pinot Noir, the winery makes an Alsacian-style Pinot Gris.
