Azienda Agricola Mastrojanni
Azienda Agricola Mastrojanni, originally part of the Fattoria dei Barbi estate in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, has been lovingly producing exquisite Brunellos in Southeasten Montalcino since 1975. Gravel, sand, and limestone-rich soils from the inactive Mount Amiata lend structure to the wines produced from the 44-hectare estate. The Mastrojanni family, along with the talented Maurizio Castelli and Andrea Marchetti, consistently create Brunello that expresses this prime terroir. Mastrojanni also produces a Rosso di Montalcino and an IGT blend called "San Pio."
