Derbès
Derbès wines are made by winemaker Cécile Lemerle-Derbès, originally from France's Champagne region. Before producing Derbès, Céile made wines at Champagne Bollinger, Champagne Jacquart, Schug Carneros, Korbel, and Golan Heights. More recently she was Director of Production at Opus One Winery. The wines produced at Derbès include a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as a Carneros Chardonnay. Cécile also makes a unique Russian River blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier called "Les Pinots." The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted. The juice is inoculated with Champagne yeasts and aged in 100% French oak.
