Cornerstone Cellars

About Cornerstone Cellars

Memphis physicians Michael Dragutsky and David Sloas produced their first Cornerstone Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon in 1991 after having the unique opportunity to buy 4.8 tons of premium Howell Mountain Cabernet from Dunn Vineyards. The wines have received great acclaim ever since. The climatic features of Howell Mountain allow Cornerstone's grapes to ripen later and develop intense flavors. Cornerstone makes both a Napa Valley and Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon; the winemaker is Celia Welch. Cornerstone also makes another label called Stepping Stone.
