Chateau Clos Haut-Peyraguey
Covering approximately 23 ha of Sauternes, Clos Haut-Peyraguey was split from the larger Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey estate in 1878 to operate as an independent Chateau. The current small estate produces close to 3,500 cases of 1er Cru Sauternes from vineyards comprised of 83% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, and 2% Muscadelle. Elegant and crisp in most vintages, in superb years it is a particularly fine and collectible example of Sauternes.
