Beginning in 1998, when Stan Boyd purchased property on Big Ranch Road in Napa, he held a vision that very special wines and memories could be created in this location. Since then, more than 20,000 vines of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon have been planted, tended, nurtured, harvested, crushed, and coaxed into fine wine. The vineyard is located in the Oak Knoll Appellation of Napa Valley, which is known for its slightly cooler climate and clay soils. This environment produces ultra-premium Merlot and Syrah used in many of Napa Valley's most sought-after wines.
Today, the Boyd Family Vineyard sells more than 95 percent of its grapes to other premium wineries and produces very limited quantities of ultra-premium wines. These are produced using only the best materials and practices in search of creating wines that reflect a full-bodied style that express the best attributes of the land. A credit card is required to place your bid. Your credit card will be pre-authorized if in the past 30 days there has not been a previous successful pre-authorization. This authorization will reserve $40 of your credit limit for approximately 8-10 days.
Any location refers to wine stored in a seller's private site as well as wine in Vinfolio storage. Wines sourced from Any location will be fulfilled to a buyer within four weeks. Wine sourced from Vinfolio storage will be fulfilled in one week.
Fill to max quantity allows you to fulfill your bid quantity through multiple purchases. All sellers with wine in the requested location are eligible to accept. Otherwise, you can choose to fulfill your entire bid quantity from one seller.
